Die-hard fans will go crazy for Peter Jackson"s adaptation from J.R.R. Tolkien"s novel, though the film itself is a bit of a slog.
There has almost definitely never been an adaptation of a book more studiously, scrupulously and strenuously faithful as Peter Jackson"s movie of J.R.R.
